I am glad to say that the third week was another successful week in order to 1)learn how to create Delicious page, 2) do the readings about "The Employment of CALL in Teaching Second/Foreign Language Speaking Skills" and "Developing Listening Skills with Authentic Materials", 3) learn and share so many web links about the development of English four basic skills.
I was really searching for some useful links that could help me improve my students' learning about English and enable me develop better activities and lesson plans, and eventually www. nicenet.org on E-Teacher's site solved this issue for me and let me know about many many sites that can, no doubt, help us a lot. I am very happy after knowing about so many sites that work effectively in enhancing the degree of Listening, Reading, Speaking and writing skills. I can't express my happiness.........
The readings on oral/aural activities provided us some very good points to learn about pronunciation etc. I can use technology in my school's classrooms now and will definitely support rest of the teachers in my school to come towards the use of technology in classrooms. Since we are working on "Connecting Classroom Project", we have gone through some very useful videoconferencing that gave our students an opportunity to listen and speak to native speakers. However, the activities for improving listening and speaking skills given at some of the sites suggested by Robert, appeared to be of great use.
I am thankful to Robert and his distinguished team members for supporting us!
